Gurugram, Jan 8 (UNI) Ten lucky kids from all across the country have been selected to represent India as Ballkids for the Australian Open tennis tournament starting next month, principle sponsor Kia Motors announced here on Wednesday.
According to auto-maker KIA Motors, these kids were selected under the mentorship of Australian Open Officials. They went through the rigorous training schedule like the Rolling Technique and Servicing Technique among others that tested their athleticism and their on-court communication skills.
They are now fully prepared to carry out their duties as Ballkids in front of a world-wide audience.
