Telugu cine hero injured, woman killed in road accident in Guntur

Vijayawada, Apr 27 (UNI) In a drastic road accident on the Chennai-Kolkata highway, a Telugu cinema hero got injured and a woman was killed when the car in which the actor was travelling lost its balance and hit the divider here on Saturday.
According to the police, actor Sudhakar Komakula was going to Guntur for the promotion of his upcoming Telugu film "Nuvvu Thopura" which is scheduled to be released on May 3.
"Near Mangalgiri Bypass road, the car lost its balance as it faced water tanker all of a sudden. In order to take a diversion, the speeding car has hit the divider and a woman who was watering saplings at that time, " police said.
The woman, identified as Lakshmi (40), died on the spot and two more injured in the accident. The actor was rushed to a private hospital, police added.
