Telangana: SLBC target to disburse over Rs 75,000 cr loans to Agriculture sector in this fiscal

Hyderabad, Jul 6 (UNI) : The State Level Bankers Committee (SLBC), here on Monday decided to raise the Agriculture disbursement target to Rs 75,141.71 crore for 2020-21, an increase of 9.54 per cent over the last fiscal’s loan component of Rs 68,596.71 crore.
This was decided at the annual credit plan and the 26th quarterly review meeting held in the presence of state Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy at MCR HRD Institute here.
The annual credit plan proposed short term credit for agriculture amounting to Rs 53,222.51 crore for disbursals for the current financial year against Rs 48,740.43 crore for 2019-20, registering an increase of 9.20 per cent.
