Telangana: Singareni Board approves Rs 10 per ton for workers pension fund, Rs 2550 cr annual budget for 2021-22

Hyderabad, Jan 28 (UNI) : The Board of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has approved to deposit Rs 10 per ton for workers pension fund scheme.
At a 556th Board of Directors meeting held under his chairmanship held at Singareni Bhavan here on Thursday, SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N. Sridhar informed that Rs. 10 per ton of coal production would be deposited in the coal mines pension scheme (CMPS) with an objective to help the retired pensioners.
The Board also approved Rs. 2550 crore annual budget for the year 2021-22 as well as Rs. 1750 crores annual budget for the year 2020-21.
