Hyderabad, Sep 22 (UNI) Telangana reported 2,166 fresh COVID-19 positive cases till 2000 hours on Monday taking the virus tally to 1,74,774, while the overall toll mounted to 1,052 so far with ten more Coronavirus deaths reported during the last 24 hours.
The case fatality rate continued to be less than one per cent at 0.60 per cent in the state as against the countrywide mortality rate of 1.60 per cent, a state health department bulletin said on Tuesday.
During the last 24 hours, 2,143 patients had recovered pushing the total number of recoveries in the state to 1,44,073 constituting a recovery rate of 82.43 per cent while the National recovery rate was 80.82 per cent.
