Telangana reports 197   fresh COVID-19 cases, one  fatality until Saturday night

Hyderabad, Jan 24 (UNI) With 197 new COVID-19 infections reported until 2000 hours on Saturday, the total Coronavirus cases in Telangana reached 2,93,253 as on date.
The cumulative toll mounted to 1,589 after one patient died of COVID-19 in the state in the last 24 hours translating a case fatality rate of 0.54 per cent as against the countrywide mortality rate of 1.4 per cent, according to a state health department bulletin here on Sunday.
A total of 376 people have recovered from Coronavirus statewide between Friday and Saturday pushing the total recoveries in the state so far to 2,88,275 constituting a recovery rate of 98.30 per cent while the National recovery rate was 96.8 per cent.
