Hyderabad, Nov 4 (UNI) Continuing the surge, Telangana registered 1,637 fresh coronavirus infections till 2000 hrs on Tuesday taking the total caseload to 2,44,143 so far.
Overall COVID-19 deaths have mounted to 1,357 as six more patients died of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours constituting a case fatality rate of 0.55 per cent as against the countrywide mortality of 1.5 per cent, a state health department bulletin said on Wednesday.
As many as 1,273 patients have recovered from coronavirus infection between Monday and Tuesday pushing the cumulative number of recoveries to 2,24,686 till date translating into a recovery rate of 92.03 per cent while the national recovery rate was 92.1 per cent, the bulletin said.
