Telangana records 993 fresh COVID-19 positive cases, four fatalities until Tuesday night

Hyderabad, Nov 25 (UNI) In a slight spike in Coronavirus positive cases, Telangana recorded 993 new COVID-19 cases until 2000 hours on Tuesday pushing the cumulative infections to 2,66,042 so far.
With four more COVID-19 deaths reported in the past 24 hours, the overall toll rose to 1,441 constituting a case fatality rate of 0.54 per cent as against the countrywide death rate of 1.5 per cent, a state health department bulletin said on Wednesday.
A total of 1,150 people have recuperated from Coronavirus between Monday and Tuesday taking the total number of recoveries in the state so far to 2,53,715 translating into a recovery rate of 95.36 per cent while the National recovery rate was 93.7 per cent.
