Hyderabad, Dec 1 (UNI) Telangana recorded one of the lowest single-day positive cases when the state registered only 502 fresh COVID-19 cases till 2000 hours on Monday taking the total caseload to 2,70,318 so far.
With three fresh COVID-19 deaths reported in the past 24 hours, the state's overall toll has risen to 1,461 till date constituting a case fatality rate of 0.54 per cent as against the countrywide mortality rate of 1.5 per cent, a state health department bulletin said on Tuesday.
Between Sunday and Monday, 894 persons have recovered from Coronavirus pushing the total number of recoveries to 2,59,230 translating into a recovery rate of 95.89 per cent while the National recovery rate was 93.9 per cent, the bulletin said.
