Telangana: Nepali gang robs retired army officer's home in Karkhana

Hyderabad, Nov 16 (UNI) A Nepali gang carried out a major robbery at Gun Rock Enclave under Karkhana Police Station limits, escaping with gold ornaments and cash reportedly worth around Rs 50 lakh.
According to police, a Nepali man employed at the residence of retired Army officer Captain Giri (75), allegedly conspired with four accomplices to execute the theft. The gang entered the house, attacked Giri with sticks and tied him up before ransacking the premises.
Local residents alerted the police, who reached the spot and shifted the victim to safety. A complaint was lodged stating that about 25 tolas of gold and cash had been stolen.
