Hyderabad, Sep 26 (UNI) The Working President of the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) party and Telangana Minister, K T Rama Rao (KTR), has voiced criticism against Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan for her rejection of MLC candidates recommended by the state government under the Governor's quota.

It's noteworthy that the Governor has reportedly declined to approve the candidature of Dasoju Shravan and Kurra Satyanarayana for MLC positions under the Governor's quota, citing their limited involvement in social service programs or government service departments. Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan invoked Article 171(5) of the Constitution, which explicitly prohibits the recommendation of political figures as MLCs in the Governor's quota.
