Telangana IT Min. KTR asks IT dept. officials to focus on next-gen citizen services

Hyderabad, Jan 23 (UNI) : Telangana IT and Industries Minister K.T.Rama Rao (KTR) on Saturday said that our policies should be citizen-centric and should prioritize and use technological advancements to focus and solve the problems of a common man.
Mr KTR , who chaired a detailed review of ITE & C department to strategize and start the work towards launching the State’s ICT policy for the next 5 years (2021-2026), said emphasised and asked all the teams to always keep the citizen at the center of the entire thought process while designing the the policies.
The Minister,who also carried out a detailed review of activities managed and carried out over the last 6 years from the formation of the state, also emphasized that the department has to focus on developing next-gen citizen services which would ensure minimising visits to a government office for any service.
