Telangana govt launches online cinema ticketing portal

Hyderabad, Oct 7 (UNI) The Telangana government on Saturday launched a online ticketing portal for all the cinema halls in the state.
All the 436 cinema halls in the state would come under the purview of online ticketing.
State Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav launched the portal "tsboxoffice.in" developed by the Telangana State Film Development Corporation (TSFDC).
Speaking on the occasion, Talasani said the portal acts as a single platform for all new and existing cinema halls and online ticketing websites to sell tickets
It facilitates transparency and provides accurate data on sale of tickets and tax collection as per the GST regime, the Minister said.
The Minister also launched single window system for the shooting permissions.
As per the single window system, all permissions for shootings would be given in seven days, the Minister added.
Governor advisor K V Ramanachary, TSFDC chairman Rammohan Rao, TSFDC Managing Director and Informatin and Public Relations Department Commissioner Navin Mittal, City Police Commissioner Mahender Reddy and others were presented on the occasion.
