Telangana govt assures farmers to procure each & every grain of crop in state: Minister KTR

Sircilla, Apr 15 (UNI) Telangana Minister K T Rama Rao (KTR) on Wednesday assured the farmers that his government will procure each and every grain of crop in the state.Mr KTR, who interacted with the farmers at the paddy procurement centre during his surprise visit here, said even in these testing times, the government has arranged crop purchasing centers across the state.
He appealed to the people to follow social distancing strictly to keep coronavirus away and stated that the coming two weeks are very crucial and asked the citizens to be careful and take complete precautions. Minister KTR, who also held a review meeting with the district administration, stated that only one positive coronavirus case has come up in Sircilla district and asked the officials to ensure no new positive cases come up in the district.
Appreciating the district level officials for working relentlessly in combating the virus, he also appealed to the people to cooperate with the officers in doing their duty.He asked the officials to take stringent action on those who break the lockdown rules.
