Telangana forms cabinet sub-committee on Rohith Vemula Anti-Discrimination Bill

Hyderabad, Apr 17 (UNI): The Government of Telangana on Friday constituted a Cabinet Sub-Committee to study and make recommendations on the proposed Rohith Vemula Telangana (Prevention of Identity-Based Discrimination in Higher Education) Bill, 2026.
The panel will examine the provisions of the proposed legislation and suggest measures for framing a suitable law, according to the Government Order issued by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu will chair the committee.
