Telangana formation day this year to be low key affair due to Covid-19 lockdown

Hyderabad, Jun 1(UNI) The Sixth anniversary celebrations of the formation of Telangana State to be celebrated on Tuesday this year in a low key affair due to Covid-19 lockdown situation.
As per the GO issued earlier by Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, in view of COVID-19 pandemic, measures like use of mask, distancing, availability of sanitizers, sanitizing spray and keeping only optimal number of participants shall be ensured.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar earlier said except for paying tribute to the brave hearts and hoisting of the national flag, no meeting or programmes will be held.
