Hyderabad, Jan 24 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy returned to Hyderabad on Friday after leading a successful delegation to the World Economic Forum (WEF) conference in Davos.
The CM and his team were warmly welcomed at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) MPs, MLAs, and party workers.
Telangana achieved a record-breaking milestone at the WEF by securing Rs 1,78,950 crore in investments, marking a fourfold increase from the Rs 40,232 crore raised during last year’s visit.
The agreements signed with 20 leading global companies are expected to generate 49,500 jobs across sectors like IT, artificial intelligence, and renewable energy.
Key projects such as the Young India Skill University, the Regional Ring Road (RRR), and metro expansion were pivotal in showcasing Telangana’s commitment to innovation, infrastructure, and sustainable growth. The state’s Telangana Rising 2050 Vision and business-friendly policies further bolstered investor confidence.
Telangana’s success at the WEF has cemented Hyderabad’s reputation as a premier investment hub, with the state emerging as a global leader in sustainable economic growth.
