Telangana CM Orders Officials to Remain on High Alert Throughout Monsoon Season

Hyderabad, June 14 (UNI)) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday directed all departments to remain on high alert throughout the monsoon season and warned of strict action against officials found negligent in discharging their responsibilities during emergencies.
Chairing a high-level review meeting on monsoon preparedness at the MCRHRD Institute's Bodhi Pavilion, the Chief Minister stressed that all necessary measures should be taken to ensure that citizens do not face inconvenience during heavy rains.
Reviewing the situation that prevailed during the heavy rainfall in the Core Urban Region (CURE) on June 9, Revanth Reddy expressed displeasure over the severe traffic congestion witnessed in several parts of Hyderabad, particularly in Cyberabad.
