Telangana CM leads delegation to Davos, receives warm welcome in Zurich

Hyderabad, Jan 20 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, leading a state delegation to the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Conference in Davos, arrived in Zurich, Switzerland, Monday morning.
The delegation received a grand welcome from the Telangana diaspora at Zurich Airport.
Accompanying the Chief Minister were State IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu and senior officials from the Industries Department.
Coincidentally, the delegation led by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu also arrived at the Zurich Airport around the same time.
The Chief Ministers and Ministers of both Telugu states exchanged greetings and briefly interacted before posing for photographs together.
On the first day of the WEF Conference, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is scheduled to meet several leading industrialists.
The Telangana delegation has outlined a focused agenda to present the state as a premier global investment destination.
Discussions are planned with representatives from various multinational corporations, aiming to secure significant investments in Telangana’s key sectors, according to an official statement here.

Madurai (Tamil Nadu), Feb 18 (UNI) BJP State president K.Annamalai on Tuesday charged that 'women are completely unsafe in Tamil Nadu and the DMK government has not moved a single finger to ensure the safety of women.'
In a post on ‘X’, Annamalai said ‘the news of a 17-year-old girl being gang-raped by seven students in Coimbatore is shocking.’
Such gang-rapes on girls show that due to the increasing drug abuse, the youth are turning to animalistic mentality.
