Telangana CEO submits list of elected MLAs to Governor

Hyderabad, Dec 4 (UNI) Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Vikas Raj along with Avinash Kumar, Principal Secretary, Election Commission of India, called on Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan on Monday and submitted the notification containing the names of elected members to the Legislative Assembly.

A Raj Bhavan Communique here said, Vikas Raj, Chief Electoral Officer & Ex-Officio Principal Secretary to Government, Telangana and Avinash Kumar, Principal Secretary, Election Commission of India have called on Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, and submitted notification containing names of elected members to the Legislative Assembly in pursuance of Section 73 of the Representation of People Act, 1951 at Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad.

UoH Alumnus Pramod K Nayar has been nominated to Posthumanities Hub Scientific Advisory Board

Hyderabad, Oct 11 (UNI)Pramod K Nayar, UNESCO Chair in Vulnerability Studies, Senior Professor, Department of English & an alumnus of the University of Hyderabad (UoH) , has been nominated to the Scientific Advisory Board of one of the world's largest research networks for posthumanist studies, the Posthumanities Hub, based in Linköping University, Sweden
He was the author of the much-cited book Posthumanism (Polity Press) besides over a dozen essays on the field,
Described as a 'collaboratory', the Hub, founded by Professor Cecilia Åsberg, a leading scholar in gender studies, cultural studies of science and technology, and environmental studies at Linköping.
It aims to forge new alliances among researchers and practitioners/practices of posthumanities enabling thinking on "how to co-exist, work and think better together in a troubled world".
