Telangana: A postgraduate woman working as GHMC sweeper, becomes Asst entomologist

Hyderabad, Sept 20 (UNI) A Postgraduate in Organic Chemistry, A Rajni, who is working as a sweeper in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on contract basis, will now become an Assistance entomologist in the corporation, thanks to Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao, officials said here on Monday.
After coming to know that Rajni, despite being an M Sc degree holder in Organic Chemistry is forced by circumstances to work as a sweeper, the minister offered her a job as an assistant entomologist in the corporation.
On micro blogging site Twitter, Urban Development Special Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar said ‘ on hearing the plight of Rajni, whos a MSc (in organic Chemistry), has 2 daughter & working as sweeper on daily wages, minister @KTRTRS met her today & offered to employ her as Assistant Entomologist on Outsourcing basis in @GHMC.
