Patna, Sep 16 (UNI) In a dramatic turn of event, RJD MLA Maheshwar Yadav today accused leader of the opposition Tejaswi Prasad Yadav of playing into hands of Giriraj to replace Mr Nitish Kumar from the post of CM and that was the reason for his continued sharp criticism of Mr Kumar, sparing the BJP during the last few weeks.
RJD MLA Mr Yadav told media persons here that his party had deviated from its main agenda of opposing BJP led NDA and it was only targetting Mr Kumar sparing the saffron party in Bihar. Such kind of approach of RJD had left anxious and disturbed, the large chunk of party MLAs who were now prepared to support Mr Kumar in such kind of prevailing political situation in the state, he claimed.
"BJP is divided into two factions in Bihar led by Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi and Union Minister Giriraj Singh respectively. While Mr Modi is in support of Mr Kumar and trying hard to ensure continuation of present arrangement in NDA in Bihar, Mr Singh is himself interested to occupy the post of CM and he is encouraging his followers to make statements against Mr Kumar", RJD MLA said adding that there was no point for leader of the opposition Mr Yadav to play into hands of Union Minister Mr Singh.
