Tech Travel Startup Lucid Trails launched

Panaji, Nov 23 (UNI) Tech Travel Startup Lucid Trails Entertainment Pvt Ltd was officially launched in the city on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Lucid Trails Founder Suraj Palekar said the startup aimed to provide multiple services under one roof, either free or at the lowest market rates.
"Our platform is dedicated to the global travel industry but we have begun with Goa as a primary destination for our business model. In the nearby future we will expand to other regions," he said.
Post the lockdown when restrictions were easing, Lucid Trails made an independent effort towards the revival of the struggling tourism sector. It offered its services of video production at the lowest cost in the market & free marketing to hospitality businesses across the state. Lucid Trails received an overwhelming enquiry through the initiative and was a win-win proposition for the industry. The video campaign will continue for the next few months with the target of expanding to Pan India.
''Tourism Industry is one of the badly affected due to the advent of COVID-19 however Palekar hopes for a gradual recovery,'' Mr Palekar said and appealed for active support from the government and stakeholders in revitalizing the sector by getting investments and newer opportunities.
Speaking on the occasion, Shekhar Diwadkar - General Secretary, Skal International (Goa & Asia), said,''Post Pandemic planning for Tourism industry should be done in a long term manner as there is a threat of COVID-19 re-emerging. We appreciate the efforts taken by Lucid Trails in promoting responsible Tourism in that regard."
Mr Palekar said he had also floated Club Lucid Trails, an initiative which would engage tourists and locals through curated trails in experiencing diverse cultural, historical and entertainment aspects of Goa. Lucid Trails also would be working towards bringing into the limelight culture and heritage of not just Goa but the entire country as such, he added.
