New Delhi, Jul 4 (UNI) In order to instill a sense of cleanliness among the children of the country, the ONGC Foundation has decided to conduct four competitions for school children online, based on cleanliness theme, as part of Swachhta Pakhwada.
Speaking about the event, ONGC Foundation CEO Kiran DM said, 'Every year, we celebrate the Swachhta Pakhwada but this year, a lot has changed. While there has been self-awakening in the people due to COVID-19, at the same time, children are not getting a platform to express their views on the current situation.
'This is a small effort by the ONGC Foundation to connect children with their creativity. Our foundation has created four theme-based competitions for school children. Students from any part of the country and any school can participate in the competitions, according to their interest,' he added.
The participants can submit their creative works, including Creative Writing and Photography, through ONGC Foundation's website, between July 7 and 10. The results will be declared on July 15.
The Swachhta Pakhwada is celebrated every year, between July 1-15.
