TDP MLA quits party, resigns to MLA post

Guntur, Nov 30 (UNI) Telugu Desam party MLA and former Minister Ravela Kishore Babu quit the party. He also resigned to his MLA post. He sent his resignation letter to the TDP office through his follower on Friday.
Mr Kishore Babu was elected to the Assembly from the Prathipadu constituency in 2014 elections and was inducted into the state Cabinet as Social Welfare minister. However he was dropped from the Cabinet later in the cabinet reshuffle by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Since then, he has been not actively participating in the party programmes.
According to reliable sources, he will join the Jana Sena party launched by film actor turned politician K Pawan Kalyan. Interestingly, 32 MLAs, two MPs and an MLC of principal Opposition YSRCP have quit the party and joined the TDP during the last four years.
