TDP leader appeals judges to condemn attacks on judicial autonomy

TDP leader appeals judges to condemn attacks on judicial autonomy

Vijayawada, Nov 22 (UNI) Telugu Desam party senior leader and former minister Yenamala Ramakrishnudu appealed to all the judges to condemn the attacks on the judicial autonomy by the accused in corruption cases.
Mr. Ramakrishnudu termed it as 'alarming' and 'frightening' that those accused in serious cases of money laundering and huge corruption were targeting the judiciary itself without any fear of the laws of the land. “All the judges should come rally together and condemn the attacks on the judicial autonomy from anywhere in the country”, he appealed.
In a statement here Sunday, the Opposition Leader in AP Council asserted that every citizen should treat the AP Chief Minister's letter to the Chief Justice of India with the seriousness it deserves. “If proper and timely action is not taken against such gross acts of misconduct, those accused in serious cases will get emboldened further”, he said.
