Tata Power illuminates remote Odisha village that languished in darkness for decades

Bhubaneshwar, Dec 5 (UNI) TPNODL, a joint venture between Tata Power and the Odisha Government, has brought electricity to Dhanusahi village, a remote area in Mayurbhanj district, under the Biju Gram Jyoti Yojana.
This milestone achievement has transformed the lives of over 37 families, bringing hope and progress to this rural community.
Nestled in the hills and forests of Kaptipada Block, Dhanusahi village was once a dark and forgotten corner of Odisha. The lack of electricity had forced villagers to rely on alternative sources of traditional lighting, making it difficult for children to study and for families to engage in productive activities after sunset.
