Tapas Pal's death: Mamata becomes 'explosive,' accuses BJP of 'revenge'

New Delhi/Kolkata, Feb 19 (UNI) Infusing 'more tension' in the BJP-Trinamool 'relation,' Trinamool Congress supremo and Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday accused the BJP of adopting ''revengeful attitude'' towards late actor-turned politician Tapas Pal-arrested by the CBI for his alleged link to Rose Valley Chit Fund scam in December 2016.
Paying her tributes to late Pal before his last journey in Kolkata, Ms Banerjee also termed the passing away of the actor ''most untimely.''
''Tapas Pal had undergone series of insults and humiliations during his jail imprisonment. The BJP is adopting revengeful attitude towards Bengal,'' Ms Banerjee observed.
