Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Feb 4 2016 5:31PM Tanzanian woman assault row: MHA seeks report, Karnataka govt orders probeBengaluru/New Delhi, Feb 4 (UNI) The Union Home Ministry has sought a report from the Karnataka Government in the alleged attack and parading naked of a 21-year old Tanzanian woman even as the incident, being projected as a 'racial assault,' evoked sharp reactions from various quarters including the Embassy of that country and the National Commission for Women. The Karnataka Government has ordered a high-level probe into the incident, arresting five accused, reports from the state capital Bengaluru said. The Tanzanian woman was allegedly beaten up and stripped by a mob on Sunday night in a case of "mistaken identity" after a woman was mowed by a car being driven by another Sudanese student in a drunken state on Bannerghatta road in the city.
