Talks between Bengal Chief Secretary and junior doctors conclude

Kolkata, Sep 18 (UNI) The second round of talks between the West Bengal government and protesting junior doctors of the state-run hospitals ended at the state secretariat Nabanna on Wednesday night, official sources said.
The outcome of the around three-hour discussions, was yet to be announced officially.
Chief Secretary Manoj Pant led the government side, while a 30-member delegation of the junior doctors drawn from all the medical colleges, took part in the deliberation. The medics are all members of the newly floated

The disturbed area was enforced throughout the state except areas covered by 19 police stations. Army is empowered to operate under the Armed Forces Powers Act 1958 in all the areas described as Disturbed Area.
