Taj Fort Aguada Beach Resort & Spa gets new General Manager

Panaji, Feb 6 (UNI) Taj Fort Aguada Beach Resort and Spa, Goa, has got Albert Rebello as its new General Manager.
According to a statement here on Tuesday, an established leader in the hospitality industry, Albert brings more than 35 years of hotel experience to the resort perched atop the ramparts of the 17th century Portuguese coastal fort.
In his new role, Albert will be responsible for the continued success of the hotel, overseeing the day-to-day operations and providing exceptional guest service at one of India’s most luxurious holiday destinations.
“We are incredibly fortunate to have Albert join the team at Goa, as he brings with him a vast experience and passion for operating hotels. Opened in 1974, Taj Fort Aguada Beach Resort & Spa, Goa has an iconic status and remains a market leader in Goa,” Farhat Jamal, Senior Vice President – Operations (West), said in the statement.
“Albert’s impressive background paired with his proven results will be instrumental in the continued success and momentum of the resort,” he said.
Albert has undertaken a number of different assignments through his 35 years at Taj, notable among which were his appointments as the General Manager of five hotels namely Taj Residency Indore, The Gateway Hotel, Manjarun, The Gateway Hotel, Vishakhapatnam; The Gateway Hotel, Bangalore and The Gateway Hotel Hinjawadi Pune.
“I am thrilled for this opportunity in Goa. This historic Taj Fort Aguada Beach Resort & Spa, Goa has contributed much to the tourism in Goa since its arrival four decades ago. I look forward to further strengthening the position of the hotel as a world class holiday destination and focus on maintaining the high guest experience levels that it’s known for,” Albert Rebello said on his new appointment.
