    Shivpuri, MP, Nov 13 (UNI) Ten people – including women and a girl – died and 20 sustained injuries on Friday evening when a pick-up vehicle conveying them back to Morwan village from a mourning overturned at a turning on the Pohari-Vijaypur road in the vicinity of Kakra village, law-enforcement authorities said.

    In the 2020-21 fiscal, a total Rs 598 cr has been approved in two instalments for places with million-plus population. Besides, Rs 1,320 cr was ratified for 403 urban bodies and five cantonment councils in areas with non-million-plus population.

    Bhopal, Oct 25 (UNI) The fatality figure owing to the ‘millennium scourge’ mounted to 2,885 on Sunday in Madhya Pradesh where ten fresh demises were reported even as the infected tally touched 1,67,249 with 951 more sufferers being detected during analysis of 31,101 specimens.
    A Health Services Directorate bulletin issued tonight pegged the active cases at 11,237 – a statistic that has been providentially witnessing a downward trend of late.     Bhopal, Oct 25 (UNI) With by-poll voting just nine days away in 28 Assembly constituencies of Madhya Pradesh, the opposition Congress took a direct hit amidships on Sunday when Damoh legislator Rahul Singh submitted his resignation from the Vidhan Sabha and subsequently entered ruling Bharatiya Janata Party ranks.
    Mr Singh formally assumed saffron camp membership at the BJP state office in the presence of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the party’s state President Vishnu Datt Sharma plus Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh. Earlier, he put in his papers to Pro Tem Speaker Rameshwar Sharma who accepted the same.
