Taapsee Pannu to star in Anurag Kashyap's Hindi version of 'Game Over'

Taapsee Pannu to star in Anurag Kashyap's Hindi version of 'Game Over'

New Delhi, May 10 (UNI) YNOT studios on Friday announced that prolific filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has come on board to present the Hindi version of the Tamil-Telugu bi-lingual film 'Game Over' starring Taapsee Pannu.

The film will be directed by Ashwin Saravanan and produced by S Sashikanth.

S Sashikanth YNOT Studios says that the film is an experience-based movie that is very language neutral and deals with very human emotions.

"I am very kicked about presenting this game-changing film in Hindi. This film proves yet again that the quality of filmmaking from the south is just outstanding and it's great to see how Ashwin Saravanan has pushed the boundaries and has made a genre-bending film, something that we all have never seen before," said Anurag Kashyap.

Taapsee says that she knew the film has an international appeal right when she heard the script.

"Very few films surpass expectations and this is surely one of them. I'm supremely excited to take this film for my Hindi audiences and there could have been no one better than Anurag Kashyap to present this film in Hindi," Taapsee said.

'For whatever little trust I have built in my audience for my choice of films, I am very confident that I will strengthen the belief further with 'Game Over',' she added.

'So lucky to be an actor in times where a film can witness simultaneous release in 3 languages. To all the wonderful names coming together to make it happen Proud to be a part of #GameOver

Yet another happy association for me with @anuragkashyap72,' Taapsee said in a tweet.

"Anurag Kashyap being one of the first audience for Game Over and coming on board to present the film in Hindi is any filmmaker's dream come true," remarks an elated Ashwin Saravanan.

'Game Over' will release soon worldwide in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The release date of all three versions - Hindi, Tamil and Telugu will be announced soon.
