T-Govt endeavoring to pull RTC out of red :Minister

Hyderabad, Nov 15 (UNI) The Telangana Government was sparing no effort to pull the loss-making State Road Transport Corporation (RTC) out of the red, Transport Minister Mahender Reddy informed the Assembly, today.
Mr Reddy told the house during Question time that the government had released Rs 39 crore for the purchase of new buses during 2015-16 besides the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation gave Rs.336 croreto the corporation.
Several concessions were also being given to the RTC which employs more than 4,000 people.
The Minister suggested that people's representatives and officials should travel by RTC buses to set an example to the common people to prefer the public transport.
