T-Cong Muslims will contest as independent, if party fails to give due representation: Rasool Khan

Hyderabad, Nov 14 (UNI) Vice-President of Telangana Congress Abid Rasool Khan on Wednesday urged the party high command to give due representation to the minority community in the state, in allocation of tickets, for the coming elections to the state, scheduled to be held on December 7.

Talking to UNI after holding a meeting with a representative of their community in the city, Mr Khan said though Congress state president Uttam Kumar Reddy had promised to provide 15 seats to Muslims in the polls, but the party allotted only four seats out of 75, as announced so far, out of which three were newcomers and weak candidates, contesting from the old city.
