SWR parcel trains keep essentials on track in spite of lockdown

Hubballi, Apr 24 (UNI) After the lockdown announced to prevent the spread of Covid-19 virus, all the passenger and express trains have been suspended to prevent spread of the virus but SWR, running time tabled parcel trains carrying essentials commodities to all parts of the country in close coordination with State Governments.

With the extension of the lockdown announced by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to flatten the curve and prevent the spread of Covid-19 virus. SWR has involved in timely transportation of essential commodities including medical equipment, food grains, eggs, fruits, vegetables, spices, dry coconut etc. to all parts of the country.
