Chennai, Sep 28 (UNI) Senior Congress leader and Wayanad Lok Sabha MP
Rahul Gandhi condoled the death of eminent agri scientist M.S.Swaminathan
and said his legacy as the Father of the Green Revolution will always be
remembered.
In a social media post, Mr Rahul. Gandhi said "MS Swaminathan's steadfast
commitment to revolutionising India's agriculture turned us into a food surplus
country."
"His legacy as the Father of the Green Revolution will always be remembered",
he added.
"My heartfelt condolences go out to his loved ones during this time of loss", Rahul.
