Swachtha Samwad organised at Ambapani village in Simdega

Simdega, Feb 1 (UNI) As part of the Swach Bharat Mission Grammen Swachtha Sankalp campaign a Swachtha Samwad programme was organised in Ambapani village of Joram panchayat under Thetaitangar block of this district.
Speaking on the occasion Union Secretary of Drinking Water and Sanitation Department Parmeshwaran Aiyar said that it was due to the able leadership and enthusiasm shown by the woman teams that they have made a laudable contribution to realise the dream of Swach Bharat Mission of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the success of the campaign in this district would be spread across the nation by the ministry.
The Union Secretary also lauded the efforts of the Ramkumar Lugnu who with his efforts not only constructed toilet at his in-laws place but through his efforts made toilets in the entire village. He described Ramkumar as a hero of the real life. He also patted one Amuni Dunhgung a student of class 6th who wrote a letter to her father urging him to build a toilet in their home.
