SW monsoon likely to withdraw around Monday

Pune, Sept 26 (UNI) Condition are likely to become favourable for the withdrawal of the South West Monsoon from west Rajasthan and adjoining areas around Monday, September 28, the India Meteorological Department said here on Saturday.
Thunderstorms were observed (from 0830 hours IST of yesterday to 0830 hours IST of Saturday) at isolated places over Odisha, Jharkhand, north interior Karnataka, Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Sikkim, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.
The South West Monsoon has been vigorous over Andhra Pradesh and north interior Karnataka and active over Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Konkan, Goa and Marathwada. It has been subdued over western Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu–Kashmir and Ladakh, Rajasthan, western Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch and Vidarbha.
