SW monsoon active in Telangana, Rayalaseema: Heavy rain likely in next 48 hours

Hyderabad, Sep 18 (UNI) Southwest monsoon was active in Telangana and Rayalaseema, while weak in Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Under its influence, heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in all the districts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and in few districts of Telangana during the next 48 hours, Meteorological Department warned in a bulletin here on Tuesday.
The bulletin also warned that thunderstorm associated with lightning will occur at isolated places in the districts of Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Nalgonda, Mahbubnagar, Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal Rural and Urban, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Bhadradri Kothagudem of Telangana during the same period.
