Sushma seeks report in Visa denial to Padma Sri awardee Friederike Irina

New Delhi, May 26 (UNI) Reaching out to animal rights activist and Padma Shri awardee Friederike Irina, who was denied visa extension by the ministry, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Sunday asked for a report.
Responding to a report that Irina, now called Sudevi Mataji, was denied visa extension by the External affairs Ministry, Ms Swaraj wrote on twitter, 'Thanks for bringing this to my notice. I have asked for a report'
Irina, who was awarded India's fourth highest civilian the Padma Shri this year, has threatened to return her reward reportedly.
Originally from Germany, Sudevi Mataji has been residing in Radha Kund for over 35 years, taking care of cows in need.
