New Delhi, July 14 (UNI) External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Saturday left for Bahrain to co-chair the second High Joint Commission meeting with her Bahraini counterpart Shaikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Mohamed Al Khalifa.
"EAM Sushma Swaraj departs for Manama, Bahrain for the 2nd India-Bahrain High Joint Commission with Foreign Minister of Bahrain Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa. She will also call on other important dignitaries, address the Indian diaspora and inaugurate the new Embassy Complex," MEA spokesman Raveesh Kumar tweeted.
The interactions with the Bahrain Foreign Minister on Sunday will cover a wide range of issues including matters related to political, economic, security and cultural ties.
