New Delhi, Aug 20 (UNI) Wrestler Sushil Kumar on Tuesday defeated his opponent Jitender Kumar 4-2 in the trials here at KD Jadhav Stadium earning his spot in the Indian contingent for the Wrestling World Championships which begins at Nur-Sultan in Kazakhstan on September 14.
Sushil started on a aggressive note during the first period with 4-0 lead, but in the second period ended causing an eye injury to Jitender to which he later admitted for his mistake.
However, Jitender fought back and thrice got hold of Sushil's right leg, but could not garner points.
