Sushant Dabas, Deep Munim and Vaishnavi Adkar lift singles titles

Chandigarh, Nov 8 (UNI) Second seed Sushant Dabas won boys under-18 singles title in the. CLTA-AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament at the Sector 10 Tennis Stadium here on Friday.
In the final he upset top seed Krishan Hooda in straight sets 6-4, 6-2.
In the boys under-16 singles finals top seed Deep Munim claimed the single crown. Deep Munim defeated Sukhpreet Singh Jhoje in a 3 setter match. After first set down Deep Munim came back strongly to win the match 6-3, 6-3 in second and third sets.
Vaishnavi Adkar won double crown of girls under-16 and 18 singles. In the girls under-16 singles finals she defeated second seed Shanvi Ahluwalia in straight sets 7-5, 6-3. In the first set both players managed to hold their serves till the 4-4. Vaishnavi broke Sanvi serve in ninth game and serving for the set. Finally Vaishnavi played intelligently and won the first set 7-5.
In the second set Vaishnavi Adkar played solid from the baseline with high temperament. Vaishnavi won the set and match without getting much pressure 6-3. In the girls under-18 singles finals Vaishnaiv Adkar upset second seed Vanshika Chaoudhary 7-5, 6-2 in straight sets.
CLTA Life President Rajan Kashyap distributed the prizes to the winners and runners-up of both events.

Boys under-18: Sushant Dabas [2] bt. Krishan Hooda [1] 6-4,6-2.
Boys under-16: Deep Munim [1] bt. Sukhpreet Singh Jhoje 2-6, 6-3, 6-3.
Girls under-16: Vaishnavi Adkar [1] bt. Sanvi Ahluwalia [2] 7-5, 6-3.
Girls under-18: Vaishnavi Adkar bt. Vanshika Choudhary [2] 7-5, 6-2.
