Suresh Angadi & Pralhad Joshi hold meeting with MPs, MLAs to discuss railway related issues

Hubballi, Jan 28 (UNI) Union Minister of state for Railways (MOSR) Suresh Angadi and Pralhad Joshi Union Minister for Parliament Affairs, Coal and Mines on Tuesday convened a meeting of MPs and MLAs with Ajay Kumar Singh, GM/SWR, Principal Heads of the Departments, Arvind Malkhede, DRM/UBL other senior officers of South Western Railway (SWR) headquarters to discuss the issues related to railway in their constituency.
The following Members of Parliament and Members of Legislative Assembly attended the meeting,MP,s Ramesh C Jigajinagi, MP, Vijayapura P C Gaddigoudar, MP, Bagalkot, Annasaheb S Jolle, MP, Chikodi and MLAs,Basangoud R Patil (Yatnal), Veeranna Charantimath, Dhuryodhan M Aihole, participated in to the meeting.
Railway issues pertaining to introduction of new trains, speeding up of trains, improvement in station buildings, early completion of doubling projects were few of the issues represented by MPs to MOSR Suresh Angadi .They also sought the support of Pralhad Joshi to get necessary approval. Suresh Angadi directed GM/SWR, Ajay Kumar Singh to take immediate action on items that are within Zonal Railway powers.
