Supreme Court suffers bird flu

New Delhi, Feb 25 (UNI) Six judges in the Supreme Court were afflicted with H1N1 but not simultaneously.
This was stated on Tuesday in an open courtroom by Justice D Y Chandrachud.
According to sources in Apex Court registry and other officials, it is correct that six judges were infected by swine flu earlier, but not all are simultaneously ill.
Four judges have already recovered & are working at present. Two Apex Court judges have also been cured but taking rest, and may be joining in a couple of days, the sources said.
Today also, it was seen that in the court number 2, Justice Sanjiv Khanna, sitting with two brother judges--N V Ramana and Krishna Murari -- was wearing a mask to avoid contamination.
Chief Justice of India Sanjay Arvind Bobde also, as per sources, held consultations for preventive measures with the Supreme Court Bar Association.
