New Delhi, Feb 23 (UNI) Additional District Judge Dr Kamini Lau earned a reprieve on Friday with the Supreme Court order for expunction of all the remarks made against her by the Delhi High Court.
A bench, headed by Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra and also comprising Justices A M Khanwilkar and D Y Chandrachud, expunged all the remarks made by the Delhi High Court against her.
"We expunged all the remarks made by the Delhi High Court against the petitioner (Dr Lau).'
The apex court also said that no contempt action would be initiated against her as the Delhi High Court had earlier also accepted her unconditional apology in the matter.
Dr Lau had knocked the doors of the apex court seeking to expunge all the remarks made by the Delhi High Court against her.
The apex court after finding merit allowed her petition and granted her the relief.
