Sunrisers Hyderabad rout Kings XI Punjab by 7 wickets to maintain their top spot

Mohali ,May 15 (UNI) Substantial contributions by their batsmen paved the way for comfortable seven-wicket triumph for Sunrisers Hyderabad over Kings XI Punjab with two balls to spare in the day-night match of the Indian Premier League at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium here tonight.
Opener and captain David Warner hit half century (52, 41 balls, 5x54s, 1x6), Shikhar Dhawan (25, 4x4s), Deepak Hooda (34, 22 balls, 3x4s, 1x6), Yuvraj Singh (42 not out, 24 balls, 3x4s, 3x6s) and Ben Cutting (21 not out, 1x4, 2x6s) guided their team to eighth victory from 12 matches they have played so far.
Chasing a victory mark of 180, Sunrisers Hyderabad replied with 183 for 3 in 19.4 overs. Local hero Yuvraj Singh displayed his awesome form as plundered 42 runs. His strokeful unbeaten knock was studded with powerful three fours and three mighty sixes. He faced 24 ball and attained the striking rate of 175.
