New Delhi, Dec 31 (UNI) The government has appointed Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineering (IRSME) officer Suneet Sharma of 1981 batch to the post of the Chairman and CEO of the Railway Board.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has appointed Sharma , in place of Vinod Kumar Yadav upon completion of his re-employment on December 31.
Mr Sharma has earlier held the position of the General Manager of Rai Bareilly situated modern coach factory. He was also the Divisional Railway Manager of Pune Division of Central Railway.
