Sukhu flags off advanced ambulances, launches tobacco-free youth campaign

Shimla, Oct 11 (UNI) In a significant step towards strengthening emergency medical services, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Health Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil today flagged off 26 new Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances. These additions supplement the existing fleet of 241 National Ambulance Service-108 (NSA) vehicles.
The Chief Minister also launched the Tobacco Free Youth Campaign from his official residence, Oakover, here today.
These ambulances are equipped with 19 life-saving healthcare equipment, including transport ventilators, ECG machines, emergency ambu bags, oxygen cylinders, and blood pressure monitoring machines. Medical technicians will be available 24x7 with these ambulances for emergency medical care.

The fraudsters impersonated CBI officials, claiming he was involved in a money-laundering case, police said on Sunday.
